 Dr. Lisa Stromsky

Veterinarian

Dr. Lisa Stromsky graduated from Michigan State University Veterinary School in 1990. Her veterinary career began in Richland Center in a mixed animal practice. She cared for a wide range of animals from tiny kittens to big Angus beef cows and went from an associate to part owner in 2000.

Her community involvement included being a founding member of the Ocooch Mountain Humane Society and she served as president for two years. She went overseas with Christian Veterinary Mission on three occasions and worked with local veterinarians in both Haiti and Vietnam. In 2005 life moved her to Madison and she worked at Westgate Pet Clinic until 2007. She then started her own mobile practice treating dogs and cats, providing wellness visits, vaccinations, surgery, lab work, therapy, and euthanasia in her clinic on wheels, until December 2019, when she sold the practice.

She thought she was going to retire and fully immerse herself in her quilting business, but life changed quickly and she was presented an opportunity to work at Pineview Veterinary Hospital. Since August of 2021 she has been helping Pineview clients to maintain the precious human animal bond. She resides on the East side of Madison with her husband Kevin and 2 dogs and 3 cats.
